I'm so sorry about your sadness :( I think I understand at least a little, and I hope it gets easier for you. There isn't really much anyone can say or do to help, I guess - I think it's one of those things that you just need to work through at your own pace, in your own way. I hope everyone around you is helping to ease your mind and keep you busy when you need it.
I'm always really interested in your comments, so I hope you'll keep them up; even my sisters enjoy reading them. Also, next time you see Sophie, can you pass this address on to her?
(Also, I'm interested in a job in September! I don't want to work anywhere but BTP >_>)
Re: Ruth and being mugged: that back door is asking for it. It always has been, and I've always hated it - do you think you'll finally be able to get a spyhole put in it, at the very least? I've been after that since I started. We REALLY NEED IT. (Did you notice how I say 'we' like I still work there? XD)

Hi there! Spyhole a good idea but I can't do anything about that until January as the doctor has given me 4 weeks off sick with stress. The break-in and being summoned to it at 2am on Advent Sunday was a like a trigger to suppressed grief what with all the Christmas music starting! Nothing was taken just the window under the letterbox (covered by cctv) smashed. I think cctv outside the back door and on the car park would help. 6 unknown youths were responsible -very nasty. We have the staff meal tonight so no doubt I'll hear more although of course I'm not supposed to be thinking about work. Have been to retreat at Turvey Abbey and went to see Father Charles at Worth Abbey. Your food looks good! I can't promise a job but Hedwig just left suddenly to go to India! So anything could happen and probably will! Keep smiling and work hard even if it is Jane Austen!
Of course anonymous is me! I've at last sent Sophie the details of this blogspot! The requiem for Mum and Dad on Sunday went really well with over 55 people there. The ashes were interred in the churchyard at Upper Norwood and as the vicar said who could doubt where they are now after the good lives they led? The choir was brilliant and we sang all the music Dad chose!
